Kibbutz is a public economic and social organization form in Israel, and it is also a modern economic and social model with a high degree of public ownership in the world. Since its birth in 1909, Kibbutz has made great contributions to the establishment and development of the State of Israel. In the mid-1980s, all Kibbutzim experienced a development crisis and encountered a series of problems, such as labor loss, economic depression, and the collapse of traditional value systems. In response to the crisis, Kibbutz reformed the occupational structure and ownership system, and replaced ideological education with value recognition education, so that Kibbutz was revived. Throughout the construction of the Socialist New Countryside in our country, there are similar problems, such as insufficient driving force for rural economic development, loss of rural labor force, and farmers’ weak collective consciousness. Analyzing the crisis and the reform of Israeli Kibbutz can provide a certain reference value for the construction of new countryside in our country.
